Bottom Pouring Tundish
Semiautomatic pourimg machine given with pouring camera and online temperature for each mould pouring with datalogg of temperature, item, inoculation, date and time. It has Servocontrol for stopper rod with joystic making easy and convinient pour for each mould. Both X and Y movements on mould to match pouring cup is motorised. And tilting for emptying incase required. Its capacity is 1000kg . Joystic is operates servo control stopper which accurately controls rate of flow. This has camera to view pouring process for operator inside operator cabin. As well it is with online temperature datalogging,it monitors each pouring temperature by biwavelength temperature sensor and loggs temperature of each mould pouring. Data of each pouring with time,item,pouring time,inoculation rate,temperature is logged. It gives very valuable data for quality person for analysis. Low cost design with robust construction makes it choice for foundries.
Stream Inoculation for Automatic Pouring
Metapour inoculation Feeder has been designed to work in conjunction with any fully automatic pouring machine. The equipment has been constructed to a simple but robust design and is able to work in the hot harsh environment. Temperatures up to a maximum of 50º C can be tolerated. On the operator interface it is possible to set the amount of inoculant powder dispensed directly .
It can be twin hopper design also.with separate opening to screw, equiped each hopper with level sensors to monitor level. The inoculant can be fed into the injector pipe or directly. With pneumatic push or gravity. Construction is screw feeder and motor with VFD , on rotation it dispences powder to bottom from upside hopper. The Metapour inoculation feeder has been designed to feed powder of size 0.2 mm to 0.7 mm diameter and free flowing.
The feeder has following modes of operation can be set
- Auto mode : In this mode feeder will operate with automatic pouring machine .
- Manual mode : In this mode feeder will operate on the start & stop push button on panel.
- Callibration mode : In this mode amount of inoculant to be dispence can be set by setting the drive rpm variably.
- Test mode : On activation this mode , feeder will dispence the inoculant powder for 10 seconds and stops. Hence calibration set can be verified in this mode. The Feeder operates on a principle as mentioned above.
Powder, contained in a conveniently sized 35 Kg capacity hopper. The size of hopper can be tailored to suit customer’s requirements. The control cabinet is connected to the dispensing unit using motor control cables . The control cabinet can be located away from the harsh environment. The 35 Kg hopper is protected from the contamination of oversized material by a 1mm stainless steel screen.
For ease of access the feeder head is equipped with opening steel cover.
Feeder does not need constant attention from operators and, as such, several safety features have been incorporated into the design. This is with all safety interlocks and datalogg.
It can be with camera and interlock also.camera will witness pouring and inoculation and will alarm and stop pouring incase of no inoculation.
Laddle Pouring Inoculation
This machine specially designed for pouring by laddle. It travels with laddle and inoculates with setable feedrate when pouring starts, it can set for number of moulds. It can be programmed like its speed of travel, number of moulds to be poured, rate of inoculation time of inoculation, any set delays between two moulds and pouring.it can completely match with standard manual pouring and can achieve inoculation precisely and uniformly.
Transfer Station Inoculation
This can be with twin hopper and with weighing controller for transfer station like furnace to laddle or treatment laddle to pouring laddle. It can be used when pouring from furnace to laddle, in this case, feeder is placed at centre of two furnaces on some height, this feeder can rotate 180 degrees to cater each furnace. The dispension pipe to furnace wise will be different. Each furnace dispension pipe will land on spout of furnace at slight height (300mm). When furnace is tilting fall of inoculant will be on spout of furnace. Operator has to trigger a button to start inoculant flow. Feedrate can be set according to your requirement. Also time of inoculation can be set. This feeder is suitable for inoculant of size 1mm to 8mm.
Furnace wise position of feeder can be selected by operator by simple selector switch. This can be fully automatic with metal sensing from spout.
