LADLE METAL STREAM INOCULATION FEEDER
There was always requirement of inoculation in leap pouring ladle, also for tea spout pouring ladle.
There was practice to inoculate by spoon feeding of inoculant.
This was manual , person holding spoon filled with inoculant use to pour inoculant on stream as soon as pouring of metal starts.
But there is inconsistency in it. one is uniform flow and second is weight.
Hence there was always enquiry from quality conscious fondries.
Since nothing in market was available. as there are challenges.
One is heat, as installation is very near to heat, it must be protected against heat, second is inoculant flow must be on stream, as pouring position of ladle is changing with tilt.
Third was its cost, as giving all facilities like auto pouring inoculation, cost control was very difficult to achieve.
We have overcome all these limitations.
Considering these limitatios, we have designed ladle inoclant feeder and successfully installed.
This feeder is fully electronic control packed in small box. in the same box hopper for 2 kg is enclosed.there is mechanism inside and control.
The feeder operates on tilt of ladle and stops on back tilt. this is automatic mode.
Test mode : in this mode user sets required feed rate and starts test mode which operates for 10 seconds, user can collect sample and varify weight as needed.this is very easy to operate can be varified in short time.
User can set required amount of feed rate on machine . same feed rate will operates in auto mode.
There is manual mode also.
In this mode mechanism will operates on push button, in this mode user has to make on and off for inoculant flow.
This small box mounted on ladle with pipe attachment at tea spout , so that inoculant flow will always on the metal stream.
This unit is battery operated and easily removable from one ladle to other ladle. however we suggest to get minimum two units for fast change over.
Batteery can be replaced quickly, it goes almost for complete one operation.
We suggest to keep batteries in spare, charger we provide.
There needs fabrication for attachment of machine to ladle, this fabrication is in user scope.
Fabrication is in such way that it can be removed in case required, it is bolted.
Commissioning takes only few hours if fabrication material is ready.
This will make ladle pouring consistent and uniform , making it reliable, just like automatic pouring machine.
